Bears fans believe Mitch Trubisky’s career is over despite beating Falcons

Chicago Bears supporters believe Mitch Trubisky’s career at Soldier Field could be over.

Trubisky was replaced by Nick Foles with the Bears having been struggling against the Atlanta Falcons.

Trubisky was benched having been 13-for-22 for 128 yards, throwing one touchdown and one interception.

Foles helped the Bears complete a remarkable turnaround to take their season to 3-0 though many think Trubisky will not suit up again.

One posted on social media: “If you bench Mitch Trubisky, you can’t go back. It’s done.”

While another added: “Mitch Trubisky is officially done in Chicago. There’s no way you can go back to him after this”.

And a third put: “Didn't see it happening this early. Here we are though. And if my instincts are correct…Mitch Trubisky is unofficially done as this franchise's quarterback.

“Even when he gets back in which you know he will at some point. This one aint as clear cut as "he's bad" which sucks.”

With one more simply putting: “Trubisky’s days in Chicago are done”.

And another commenting: “Foles looked every bit of the Super Bowl MVP that he once was. Trubisky's time in Chicago is done now, barring an injury to Foles at a later date.”

Bears coach Matt Nagy said there was no decision on who will start Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts.

While Trubisky admitted it “sucks” to be benched, though said coach Nagy made the best decision for the team and he’s happy it worked out.
