Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik has revealed he gave WWE boss Vince McMahon a hug after his explosive debut at SummerSlam last week.
Dominik competed in his first ever match on the August 23 pay-per-view event, locking horns with five-time world champion Seth Rollins at the tender age of 23.
While the youngster didn’t come out on top, he certainly left with his head held high after what proved an impressive debut overall.
And the following day he was given the chance to team up with dad Rey in a battle with Rollins and Murphy on Raw.
Understandably, Dominik is on cloud nine after bursting onto the WWE scene in spectacular fashion last week.
“It’s been crazy, it’s been surreal,” he told talkSPORT .
“Having to come down from cloud nine after being in my debut match at SummerSlam to debuting at RAW with my dad the next day – it’s been a blessing.
“Putting the match together, I couldn’t have picked a better person to help me with that than Seth and my dad.
“We also had the help of our producer Jamie Noble, another man who is outstanding at what he does.
“So I’m nothing but thankful to those guys for how they helped me and guided me through this crazy debut match at SummerSlam. Overall, I was very happy with the match.”
