Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce confirm relationship with PDA in New York

Donna Kelce seems 'unimpressed' with Taylor Swift after meeting

NFL superstar Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift looked every bit the loved-up couple as they packed on the PDA in a public appearance in New York. The world-famous pair seemingly confirmed speculation over their relationship as they attended a recording of “Saturday Night Live” together.

The budding romance between the pair has seen the worlds of music and sports collide in recent times and they did nothing to dampen the intrigue during a night in the Big Apple. First seen emerging from a car together, the casually dressed duo looked effortlessly comfortable in each other’s company.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened the door for the ‘Anti-Hero’ songstress, before they made their way from their car and into the afterparty following a surprise appearance on SNL. Earlier in the evening, they had both taken part the recording of the hit sketch show hosted by Pete Davidson.

The comedian lined up alongside fellow comics Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day, James Austin Johnson, Molly Kearney and Devon Walker as they performed a skit of the Fox “NFL Sunday pregame show”. Taking on roles as reporters at a game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets, they made reference to Kelce and Swift’s romance throughout.

Based on the premise that the ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker was due to watch her beau’s brother Jason play for the Eagles, the performance was a clear nod in homage to the chart sensation’s several appearances in the crowd at Chiefs games in recent times.

The script alluded to Swift’s appearance at their recent game against the New York Jets alongside her A-Lister friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. There was also a mention of her previous relationships with Joe Alwyn and the 1975’s singer Matty Healy. 

Then, the character played by Michael Strahan called out to Kelce directly, addressing his relationship with Swift by offering some words of wisdon: “Hey, look, I just want to say whatever it is, I want to say to Travis Kelce, from one Super Bowl Champion to another, this is a way bigger deal than the Super Bowl.”

He then fired a warning to the 34-year-old, with another piece of advice by adding:”You cannot mess this up. This is very delicate”. To the surprise of the studio audience, Kelce appeared towards the end of the skit. 

Kenan would cut to a commercial, while crying out that he would prefer to ‘speak with someone who actually wants to talk football’. Then, the Chiefs tight end would spring the biggest surprise of the night by appearing on stage, much to the shock of the audience watching from the wings.

His lines were limited to a short-but-sweet outcry of “Yes, please!” but it was clear that his appearance had gone down well with the unsuspecting crowd at the studio.

After that, Swift would also make a cameo appearance on the set as she introduced her fellow musician Ice Spice as the hip hop star got ready for her second performance of the evening. The new couple then made their way to the SNL afterparty, where their night would continue.

They would also leave the party together, emerging into a wintry night in New York while holding hands as their burgeoning relationship continues.Their appearance together was the first time the duo had publicly acknowledged their relationship in such an outward way.

Previous to this, the ‘Blank Space’ singer had attended the Chiefs’ 19-8 win over the Denver Broncos after jetting in from Los Angeles following a showing of her ‘Eras Tour’ movie. She first appeared in the crowd at the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears last month.
