Deontay Wilder's brother Marsellos has responded to Tommy Fury's call-out for a fight on the undercard of their respective brothers' trilogy bout this summer.
Tommy's brother Tyson will face Deontay in a trilogy on July 24 in Las Vegas and the younger Fury wants to make it a family affair.
Marsellos took to social media today to post a video reacting to Love Island star Tommy's call-out, telling him to send a legitimate offer instead of doing it in the media.
"Hey Tommy Fury, keep that same energy when you see me," Marsellos said. "You're speaking on my name, but your team ain't sent me a goddamn thing.
"I don't do no capping, I'm a real-life entertainer, boy."
Fury made the callout in the buildup to his fight this weekend with Jordan Grant on the undercard of the interim heavyweight title fight between Daniel Dubois and Bogdan Dinu.
The younger Fury is expected to beat Grant, despite his unbeaten record, and could turn around within just six weeks to face Wilder, although he would have to move up in weight to face his cruiserweight foe.
“That fight [with Marsellos Wilder] would make headlines," Fury told Queensberry's The Lowdown show. "It would be a privilege to fight on Tyson’s undercard and both of us getting victories.
“I am up for that fight. I am up for anything. I am over here training, in shape so whatever comes I will be ready for.
“I’ll have a piece of him. I called him out before and he never replied.”
Twenty-two-year-old Fury, who was a finalist on the 2019 season of Love Island with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, was in Miami training with brother Tyson when news came through that he would fight Wilder instead of Anthony Joshua.
And now he appears to want a fight with 31-year-old Marsellos, who began boxing later than the age Fury currently is and has been stopped twice in his relatively young fight career.
Marsellos was planning a ring return in early 2020, but due to the onset of the pandemic he has been focusing on training.
This wouldn't be the first time that Fury has called him out, saying late last year: “If his brother wants the same as Deontay got, then he can get it.
“I see a lot of people tweeting about wanting to fight me but I never saw that before I went into Love Island so I know what they are after.
“If Marsellos Wilder is one of those then I will happily oblige.
“My advice for him would be to keep quiet and stay in America where he can try to help his brother recover from what Tyson did to him, fair and square.”
Fury is 5-0 as a professional while the younger Wilder is 5-2, losing his last fight to a brutal shot from Dustin Long towards the end of 2019.
