Ebanie Bridges explains position of Conor McGregor’s hand in ‘legendary’ photo

Ebanie Bridges has offered an explanation for the positioning of Conor McGregor's hand in a photo of the pair thatwent viral.

Bridges and McGregor posed for pictures together at ringside as Katie Taylor took on Chantelle Cameron in Dublin last weekend. The snaps of the photogenic fighters went down a storm, although one picture, in particular, caused quite the commotion.

The photo in question saw a smiling McGregor stand alongside Bridges with his arm draped around her. However, the positioning of his left hand close to the Australian's chest didn't go unnoticed by the duo's legions of fans, who all commented the same thing.

"That left hand is too close," wrote one commenter. While another said: "At scale… I can see Conor’s got some big fists."

Bridges has now addressed the snap, quote-tweeting a close-up of her wrist and McGregor's, both adorned with luxurious watches, along with the words: "We are just #WatchFlexing."

She completed the tweet with a cry laughing emoji as her followers joined in with various responses. One person wrote: "Watching them hands…." While others opted for more cry laughing emojis.

Later, Bridges spoke about her anticipated boxing comeback from a hand injury sustained during the defence of her IBF title against Shannon O'Connell in December.

"I got a mandatory out the way so I wouldn't mind a voluntary coming back from my hand injury," she told Boxing Social. "Whatever makes sense to me, it's got to make money, it's got to make sense.

"I'm at that point in my career that I know I am the queen of the division and everyone wants me so really the ball is in my court and what I want to do and money talks so I'll fight who I want but I have to get paid right.

"Obviously [I want to fight] the champions but if not the champions, I'd like to fight Avril Mathie, I like the look of her, she's tough… I think that would be a really exciting fight for the fans. Other than that I'm not fussed."

Mathie has previously expressed interest in a bout with Bridges, fuelling the fire for a potential Aussie OnlyFans match-up at some point in the future.
