Self confessed Fat Boy Tyson came to the scales for his crossover Battle of the Baddest with UFC legend Francis Ngannou some nine pounds heavier than the last time he stripped for a fight
After proclaiming the power of the paunch, Fury hit the scales on a balmy night in Saudi Arabia at 277.7 lbs.
That is compared with 268 and 3/4 pounds when he ‘had fun’ with his old pal Dereck Chisora in Wembley Stadium last December.
He actually looks to have shed the odd love handle since arriving in Riyadh.
Not that any weight loss should be attributed to the heat of the desert. The temperatures here at this time of year are bearable during the day and Mediterranean in the evening.

Fury and Ngannou went head to head during their weigh in for the Battle of the Baddest
Ngannou came in at 271.1 lbs – some five pounds lighter than the Gypsy King at 277.7 lbs
‘Doesn’t mean a thing really, ‘ said the Gypsy King. ‘I’ll batter this big fat sausage for dinner this Saturday night, whatever we weigh.’
Ngannou in fact came in the lighter at 272.1 lbs.
Fury said of him: ‘He will be like a table tennis player trying to take on Novak Djokovic at tennis.’
The Gypsy King and Ngannou went head to head during their weigh in on Friday.
Mike Tyson was seen smiling as Ngannou posed for his weigh-in, a day after he and Tyson Fury’s dad, John, exchanged verbal blows during the press conference.
