Cormier knocked out Miocic at UFC 226 to become a two-division champion before Miocic reclaimed his belt by knocking out Cormier at UFC 241.

The trilogy blockbuster will end the Octagon rivalry between the two goliaths of the UFC and Dana White says the victor will be the greatest heavyweight champion in mixed martial arts history.

“You have some of the goofballs out there that want to try and debate it. There’s no debate. The winner of this fight is the greatest heavyweight ever in mixed martial arts, period,” White said at the pre-fight press conference.

“These guys are going to end up on some Mount Rushmore somewhere. Two future hall-of-famers, two of the best to ever do it, and the greatest heavyweight champion ever.”

If Cormier is to emerge victorious once again he’ll also have a solid argument for the greatest fighter in MMA history.
