YouTuber Jake Paul has posted a video on Instagram with his reaction to Conor McGregor's stunning defeat in his rematch with Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
The Notorious was taking to the cage for the first time since defeating Donald Cerrone a year ago.
But his comeback did not go according to plan as Poirier knocked him out in the second round in Abu Dhabi.
Paul, who is due to face Floyd Mayweather later this year, has made no secret of his desire to fight McGregor, even going so far as to make a video in which he claimed to have offered the Irishman $50million to fight him.
But that offer no longer looks to be on the table, with Paul's reaction in his video saying it all.
The 24-year-old can be seen laughing with friends, and says to the camera: "Hey guys, I got 10,000 dollars for you in cash! Cash baby! You had 50 million dollars!" before putting his head in his hands.
He also attached the caption: "Aye @thenotoriousmma INSTEAD of $50 MILLION I GOT $10,000 for you now. CASH THO!! ALL CASH!" along with a number of laughing face emojis.
Previously Paul had attempted to goad McGregor into a fight, doubling down on his lucrative offer earlier this week.
“I love all chickens, besides Conor McGregor. He is the world's biggest chicken," he said.
“Conor, you were just talking about me in the media saying, 'If it (fight between Jake Paul and Conor McGregor) makes money, it makes sense.
“I offered you $50 million, you're getting paid $5million to fight Dustin Poirier. I think you're a chicken.”
It remains to be seen what McGregor's next move it, but the defeat to Poirier will surely weaken his hand going forward.
After the bout the Irishman said: "It's hard to overcome inactivity.Dustin is some fighter. I have to dust it off and come back and that’s what I’ll do.
"I'll take my licks. I’m gutted… I put the work in. I’m proud of my work."
