Jake Paul wants £3m bet with UFC president Dana White for Ben Askren fight

Jake Paul is willing to put a huge £3m on the line for his upcoming bout with Ben Askren.

The YouTube star is continuing his professional boxing career by taking on UFC star Askren on April 17.

Many are expecting Askren to win, including UFC president Dana White, though Paul has surprised his sparring partner Mike Perry.

Perry wrote on Twitter: “Idk Dana White, I just got some work with Jake Paul and it’s not looking good for Ben Askren …. #IronSharpensIron”.

White had offered a $1m bet to Paul on the result of his fight with Askren, though the YouTube sensation wants to double the amount.

And he has also called out White for a future fight considering the amount of talk that the pair have engaged in.

Paul wrote on Instagram: “Dana let’s double the bet up! $2 Million. We wire the money into escrow. $4 million total. Winner takes all.

“My team will be in touch to make a contract. After I knockout Ben, we can set up Jake Paul Vs. Dana White 2021 since you consider yourself a ‘Boxer’ and me a ‘YouTuber’.”

Paul has previously spoken of his confidence of winning, saying: “I say it in every single interview.

“I predict when I’m going to knock these people out, I predict what the media’s gonna say, and you people are just going to see one by one: Ben Askren gets knocked out, Danis gets knocked out, Diaz gets knocked out.

“It’s gonna happen and people will replay this interview and be like ‘wow, this kid really just predicted all of this’.
