McGregor’s Forged models pose with Irish police ahead of Katie Taylor fight

Conor McGregor's Forged models wowed fans as they posed with the Irish Garda ahead of Katie Taylor's bout on Saturday evening.

There has been unrest in Dublin on Thursday after three children and a school care assistant were stabbed outside a primary school. Garda were deployed to the streets to deal with the subsequent riots.

McGregor has been outspoken on social media about the stabbings, and then the riots – criticising the Garda for their response. However, he has now thanked the staff for their hard work ahead of the boxing match.

Inside the ring, Katie Taylor edged past Briton Chantelle Cameron via majority decision, claiming the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC light-welterweight titles. Taylor, who was fighting in front of a home crowd, avenged the only loss of her career.

"Whoever wrote me off obviously doesn't know me very well," she said. "Let's get the trilogy at Croke Park."

Taylor has now joined Claressa Shields and Terence Crawford as the only fighters to win undisputed championships in two different weight classes in the four-belt era.
