Mike Tyson tells Jake Paul who he wants Youtuber to fight next in boxing journey

Mike Tyson reckons he has the ideal next opponent for YouTuber-turned-boxing star Jake Paul.

The American is 3-0 in his fledging boxing career after defeats of fellow internet star AnEsonGib, former NBA hotshot Nate Robinson and MMA legend Ben Askren.

Paul, who is expected back in the ring later this year, has been heavily linked to a high-profile bout with Tommy Fury after the pair traded blows on social media last month.

However, boxing legend Tyson believes there’s a more obvious opponent ready and waiting to be fought.

Speaking on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, Tyson revealed the man he wants Paul to face next.

Iron Mike had no hesitation in agreeing that Paul should fight Kamaru Usman saying: “I want to see that s***”.

He believes the contest makes sense for both men, with Usman guaranteed a big payday: “It’s twice or three times as much money in the UFC. So, how could he turn it down?”

Usman is the current UFC Welterweight Champion and unlike Paul’s three previous opponents is at the absolute top of his game.

The Nigerian Nightmare hasn’t dismissed a fight with Paul in the past, telling ESPN: “I don’t necessarily care for the fight. I don’t care for it.

“I don’t really entertain it, honestly, but there’s a lot of work that I’ve put into my sport to get to the position that I’m in.

“And then when you see these guys come in and just, ‘Oh, I wanna challenge him. I want to challenge that guy, that guy,’ it’s almost disrespectful.
