Paige VanZant has issued her first update since her defeat at the hands of opponent Rachael Ostovich, marking the second defeat in a row since she began her bare-knuckle fighting career.
The bout went the full five rounds, but VanZant was ruled to have been the lesser fighter on the judges' scorecards, meaning she remains win-less since the signing of a contract that has seen her make the transition from MMA to bare-knuckle competition.
The 27-year-old did not stick around to wallow inside the ring, leaving immediately after the result was declared clearly downbeat after being on the wrong end of the result.
However, less than 24 hours after the contest VanZant took to social media to provide her fans with an update on how she is feeling off the back of two defeats in a row.
"Guess what b*tches???!! I’m still smiling!!!” VanZant wrote on Instagram accompanied with a series of photos from after her fight.
"My story is full of setbacks, road blocks and detours. But, it is also filled with major comebacks, peace in my soul and a grace that saved my life. I promise you this, I would endure this pain everyday of my life over the pain of regret.

VanZant sustained some serious physical damage during the bout, even more so than during her debut bout against Britain Hart back in February.
She is now 0-2 in what is a four-fight bare-knuckle fighting deal, signed off the back of her opting against renewing her UFC deal upon its expiry.
