Logan Paul has threatened to sue Paddy Pimblett after the UFC star posted a video spreading misinformation about the Prime Energy drinks brand founded by himself and KSI.

Following his controversial victory over Jared Gordon at UFC 282, Pimblett took to Instagram to promote Applied Nutrition’s new electrolyte drink, Body Fuel, by directly comparing it to Prime.

“Prime’s got 2 grams of sugar in it,” he said. “A lot of sugar. Our drink, 0 grams of sugar in it. Much better, especially for your kiddies. And if we are going on facts fella, Prime’s got 25 calories and Applied Nutrition drink has 5 calories in it. What’s better? Prime has 825mg of electrolytes.”

He then added as he threw down the Prime bottle: “Our drink has 665 mg. This is the perfect blend. The perfect amount that your body can consume. These Paul brothers haven’t got a clue. Know what I mean? No comparison. Get that to f***.

“These are the drinks you want [Body Fuel], much better for you, much healthier and stick it to Logan Paul because you all know The Baddy’s better.”

Responding to Pimblett’s claims, a furious Paul fired the Liverpudlian a warning during the latest episode of his podcast, Impaulsive: “You are now associated with a cheap, copycat beverage brand, it looks almost identical to Prime.

“The formula that they use to make the drink is less calories, less sugar. I think that’s that sticking point, so he made a comparison video – here’s another L – that is identical to the comparison videos that I made.

“And he lied in the video, he poured out sugar at one part to show Prime’s two grams of sugar and he poured a f*** load of it.

“I could technically sue the f*** out of you for that misinformation and that’s a fact. You f***ing lied.”

Pimblett improved to 4-0 in his UFC career with his latest victory over Gordon. He is now expected to headline a UFC Fight Night when he returns to the Octagon with company president Dana White promising the Scouser the honour providing he won his last bout. Exactly when that will be is presently unclear with no official confirmation of the severity of the right ankle injury Pimblett sustained last time out.
