Tommy Fury has begged YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul not to ‘pull out’ of their upcoming fight in December, as the former Love Islander aims to ‘splatter’ his American opponent.
After exchanging verbal blows across social media for months, Fury and Paul finally agreed to take each other on inside the ring at the Amalie Arena in Tampa on Saturday, 18 December.
The bout was confirmed by the American YouTuber last week, after he took to his Instagram page to post: “It’s finally official. Timothy had no choice but to sign the contract so he could finally pay his bar tabs, afford a shirt for the club, and stop living off Molly.
“December 18 in Tampa Bay I’m changing this w***er’s name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady.
“Pucker up Timmy… it’s time to kiss your last name and your family’s boxing legacy goodbye.”

Despite the taunts though, 22-year-old Fury does not seem phased about taking on Paul, with his main concern being the YouTube sensation pulling out of the fight.
He said: “I’m going to splatter him. I’m begging Jake Paul, please do not pull out.”
Fury heads into his clash with Paul undefeated, having won all seven of his professional fights so far in his career, and despite his opponent also posing an unbeaten record he feels he has ‘won the lottery’ having to fight the YouTuber.
The Englishman commented: “I feel like I’ve won the lottery. You’re asking me to fight on a massive world stage, you’re going to pay me nicely, and all I’ve got to do is fight Jake Paul – a YouTuber.”

As mentioned, despite his YouTuber background Paul also heads to Tampa unbeaten in professional boxing, posing a 4-0 record.
And despite his English opponent posing a longer professional and amateuar career – as well as coming from the notorious Fury family – Paul believes the former Love Islander hasn’t worked as hard as he has to get to this point.
Paul said: “Tommy claims to have been doing this his whole life and he’s had this amateur career, and he’s been around it and that is true, but he hasn’t worked as hard as me.
“I see a green guy who hasn’t sparred enough times and who has only been put in there with opponents that were meant to lose.
He also went on to add that he believes next month’s bout will be Fury’s first ever test in a boxing ring, and expects him to ‘crack under the pressure’.
The American continued: “This is his first real test where his opponent just doesn’t flop over. You’re going to see that. You’re going to see a fighter who is a virgin, in my opinion.
“He has no idea what he’s getting himself into. This is his first time under the big lights and on the big stage, and he’s going to crack under the pressure.”
