Tommy Fury critics say he wore ‘what Jake Paul will do to him’ for Halloween

Tommy Fury has been trolled by fans on social media for wearing "what Jake Paul is going to do to him" as a Halloween costume over the weekend.

Fury, the younger brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson, is poised to settle his differences with Paul in the boxing ring on December 18 after months of trash talk between the pair.

Their highly-anticipated showdown, which will take place over eight rounds at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, was finally confirmed on Friday.

Despite his own limited experience as a professional, Fury (7-0) will be expected to get the better of YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul (4-0) when they meet a week before Christmas.

However, fans have taken to Instagram to mock the 22-year-old ahead of the fight, joking that his Halloween costume this weekend forebodes what Paul will do to him in the ring.

In a photo with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, Fury showed off his look as a fighter covered in gruesome blood and cuts and wearing boxing shorts with his name on.

Molly-Mae opted for a similar blood-inspired theme, donning a ring girl's outfit and a skirt with her man's name on while holding a 'Round 6' card aloft.

One fan wrote in the comments: "Dressing up as what Jake’s going to do to him".

Another asked: "So this is going to be you at fight night?"

A third joked: "Cant believe you went as yourself after 3 rounds with @jakepaul".

Another told him: "That's a preview of how you're gonna look after the fight".

While one simply posted: "How you gonna look after Jake".

After his clash with Paul was confirmed on Friday, Fury wrote on Twitter: "Time to do what should’ve been done to you a long time ago….You’re getting knocked spark out. @jakepaul".
