Tyson Fury has called Eddie Hearn an absoulute ‘w*****’ and insisted Frank Warren is 10 times the promoter he is in an X-rated tirade.

The self-styled Gypsy King, who is aligned with Hearn’s rival promoters Warren and Bob Arum, launched a verbal assault aimed at the Matchroom boss after being angered by how the super-middleweight unification fight between Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders has been promoted.

Fury and Saunders have been close friends for years and are currently both training out in Las Vegas ahead of the latter’s May 8 blockbuster showdown with pound-for-pound star Canelo.

Heavyweight champion Fury, who has been hugely critical of Hearn in the past and is set to fight his main attraction Anthony Joshua in July this year, has accused him of favouring Canelo in how he’s marketed the fight despite also being Saunders’ promoter.

‘I think Matchroom boxing and Eddie Hearn are absolute w*****s,’ Fury said in a video on his Instagram story.

‘They are up Canelo Alvarez’s ring piece a million miles, look on the f***ing webpage. “Oh Canelo, Canelo,” do you promote Billy Joe or not you w***ing p****.

‘Frank Warren is worth 10 of you Eddie, you little sausage. He knows how to promote fighters, that’s why he’s a Hall of Fame promoter.’

Fury accused Hearn of talking up Canelo more than Saunders despite being both of their promoters

Hearn signed a two-fight deal with Canelo back in January and promoted his knockout victory over Anvi Yildirim two months ago while Saunders has been with Matchroom since 2019.

WBC world champion Fury, who recently revealed his £100million heavyweight mega fight with Joshua is taking place in July, has been outspoken in his support for Saunders and is backing him to stage an upset when he meets Canelo at the AT&T Stadium in Texas next month.

‘Billy Joe Saunders is 100% mentally in the right place, he knows what he has to do and he will do it, he will rise up to the top and claim greatness,’ he wrote on Instagram last week.

Fury then made reference to the duo’s Traveller background, claiming Canelo will be in for a surprise against Saunders as they are a ‘different breed of animal’.

Anthony Joshua, who is promoted by Hearn, is set to fight Fury in Saudi Arabia in July this year

‘I was wrote off many times in the past and have always come through,’ he added.

‘We are cut from the same cloth, same breed of animals, Canelo has fought them all but never a Fighting Gypsy, we are a different breed of animal to anything he has come across before. Domination with the help of God.’

The Manchester Giant will hope he can follow up a Saunders victory by becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in the early 2000s when he takes on Joshua this summer.

The boxing world is eagerly-awaiting confirmation for their heavyweight fight, which could come over the course of the next few days after Fury’s promoter Arum revealed a money-spinning deal to stage it in Saudi Arabia was on the verge of being agreed last week.
