Former UFC champion Miesha Tate has accused Jon Jones of doing "unforgivable things" after the light heavyweight star's latest run-in with the law.
The former light-heavyweight champion was arrested for misdemeanour domestic battery and felony tampering with a vehicle.
The incident occurred just hours after Jones’s classic 2013 title fight against Alexander Gustafsson was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
The UFC legend was arrested after his fiancee was found with blood on her clothing and face.
According to MMA Fighting, officers had responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino on Friday morning, after which they were informed Jones was no longer at the site.
Las Vegas Police located and arrested him, during which Jones allegedly smashed his head into the front bonnet of the police car which inflicted minor damages, and police likened his behaviour to ‘an emotional rollercoaster’.
Jones’ fiancée Jessie Moses supposedly told police that the MMA star had returned to their hotel room after earlier heading out for the night. She allegedly claimed he had been ‘a little bit’ physical with her and declined to allow pictures to be taken of her injuries or to take a domestic violence card.
Jones subsequently denied to police that he had pulled Moses’ hair or hit her, but admitted that the pair were arguing. He is due to appear in court next month.
Jones posted a video of the pair kissing over the weekend, but Tate is disappointed with his actions.

“It is so disheartening,” the 35-year-old told MMAMania.com. “Jon Jones, we can give him all the compliments for his accolades and he deserves that, but there are just a lot of unforgivable things that he’s done throughout the history of his career.
“At least in the limelight that we know of. It’s really tough to separate, I think it’s getting more difficult for fans to separate the two. To just be a fan of him as a fighter and not recognise the other things he does as a human being that kind of tarnish that.
“Jon Jones should be in charge of Jon Jones. There’s nobody else that we should be looking at.
“It’s not his fiancee's fault; it’s not his parents’ fault at this point. He’s a grown-ass man. He’s a grown-ass man and he needs to be responsible.”

Tate described herself as an ‘acquaintance-slash-friend’ of Jones, but acknowledged his behaviour needs to change regarding his ‘kryptonite’.
“Whether that be alcohol, whether it be certain kinds of drugs, I don’t know,” she said.
“If it’s in an atmosphere [or] if it’s Las Vegas…if you need to, walk out of the room when you’re upset and take an hour before you come back and talk to your partner.”
Tate was scheduled to fight Ketlen Vieira on October 26 at UFC Fight Night 195, but the bout was pulled from the card after she tested positive for Covid.
The bout has been rebooked for November 20 at UFC Fight Night 198.
