Warren lists the five fights he wants in 2022 including Tyson Fury megafight

Happy New Year and let’s hope it is a memorable one in the ring.

To celebrate the start of 2022, this week I’m having a look at the five fights I would love to make this year.

I’m sure as the months progress other great fights will present themselves but, for now, let's try to get these on.

The fight for the undisputed heavyweight crown is the one we all want to see. Obviously, I see Fury as the best in the division so it would be fantastic to see him get his hands on all the other belts again. They both have fights to deal with in early Spring but we want this on later in the year.

It was great that Buatsi came along to watch Yarde get revenge against Lyndon Arthur so now that he has seen our man up close, let’s make the fight happen. It’s a fight everyone wants to see between two exciting British light-heavyweights and it will be a great clash.

All the talk about Conor Benn facing Adrien Broner but what is wrong with fighting someone who is well known in the UK like Avanesyan for the European welterweight title? I want this fight so much that I’m willing to let it go to DAZN on a Matchroom card and I’ll pay Avanesyan’s purse so it is a free fight for Benn’s team.

There is so much chatter that Eubank Jnr is the big name for Sky’s future in boxing but how about he fights the best super-middleweight in Britain then? Eubank is 32 and is being hyped still as a future star but Parker, at 27, is a fighter who has all the talent to really become a big name.

Firstly these guys are going to have big fights against other opponents and there is a good chance this year that both will have versions of the WBA and WBO heavyweight titles so wouldn’t it be great for them to then have a rematch? The first fight was exciting as Joyce came out on top and the second will be even better when they’re more experienced.
