Aaron Rodgers could turn to some alternative methods to speed up his return to the field following his Achilles rupture, including dolphins’ love-making.
The 39-year-old underwent surgery to repair his Achilles tendon Wednesday after tearing it following just just four snaps of his New York Jets debut Monday night and the NFL veteran is already plotting his return to the field.
Rodgers, who said ‘anything is possible’ when asked if he is eyeing a return this season, is exploring options to make that hope a reality.
The signal caller, who is known for his alternative methods when it comes to his health, said he is researching ‘modalities,’ including one that involves dolphins during his interview on the Pat McAfee show Friday.
‘There’s ideas that some of the noises from the dolphins when they’re love-making, the frequency of that is actually healing to the body,’ Rodgers said.

Rodgers has made no secret of his outlandish methods in the past, endorsing the use of ayahuasca last season, claiming it helped him to MVP-winning seasons in 2021 and 2022.
But he did confirm to McAfee that Ayahuasca will not be part of his rehabilitation program.
The four-time MVP also went into a darkness retreat at the end of last season, remaining secluded in a cabin in Southern Oregon for several days, to contemplate his NFL future.
He emerged wanting to put off NFL retirement, ultimately leading to his blockbuster trade from Green Bay, where he had spent 18 years, to New York.
However, his fresh start with the Jets came to a screeching halt against the Buffalo Bills.
He said the 24 hours following his Achilles injury were some of the toughest throughout his life, but has refused to give up hope on a spectacular return.
‘There’s been some guys with some interesting timetables on Achilles returns,’ Rodgers said regarding his timetable.
When pressed as to whether he was somehow targeting a comeback for the 2023 NFL season, Rodgers said; ‘I’m not going to take any of those statements, I don’t think that’s fair to myself.’

But when asked by former Packers teammate, if it’s a possibility, he replied; ‘I think as Kevin Garnett said, anything is possible.’
While Rodgers offered an optimistic outlook Friday, he said he felt far from it in the immediate aftermath of his injury Monday night.
‘Monday was an amazing day to start,’ Rodgers told McAfee. ‘Amazing night running on the field with the flag it was electric. And then it turned into one of the toughest 24-hour stretches I’ve had in my life.
‘Lot of sadness, a lot of tears, a lot of dark frustration and angel – all the gamut of emotions but then the sun rose the next day. I found myself in L.A. and had surgery Wednesday and since then I’ve been feeling better.’
Rodgers detailed that he knew right away what had occurred to him on the fourth snap and put to bed any doubt that he’s coming back to the Jets, or at full capacity. Instead, he is intent on doing so with a vengeance.
Rodgers admitted he had one of the most trying 24-hour periods following the injury
‘What I’d like to say is, give me the doubts. Give me the doubts, give me the timetables. Give me all the things you think can, should or will happen because all I need is that one little extra percent of inspiration, that’s all I need.
‘Give me your doubts, give me your prognostications and then watch what I do.’
Rodgers did admit his age made things a little more complex but naturally, rebuked suggestions he couldn’t overcome what’s in front of him.
‘Just because somebody hasn’t ever done it a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s not possible.
