The Dockers led by eight points at half time 3.4 (22) to the Suns’ 1.8 (14)

The standard of general play and goal kicking were woeful in the first half, with both teams combining for 12 behinds and just six majors.

Fans have long called for games to be stand-alone to avoid missing any action.

But with only seven games scheduled this weekend for the second of the bye rounds, supporters were left wishing there was another game to watch instead of the shocking display between the Dockers and the Suns.

The midfield bull took a little while to get back in the swing of things.
