Jerry Jeudy had a pretty good night at the 2020 NFL Draft, becoming the Broncos’ top pick at No. 15 overall. But as is tradition around draft time, everyone tries to find weird tweets from prospects.
These old tweets are often off-color or crude; sometimes they’re just silly. This draft was no different, as America discovered Jeudy had what can only be described as an obsession with the character Big Bird from “Sesame Street.”

Round 1 results | Grades | Winners & losers
Back in August 2013, Jeudy was 14 years old. On August 6, 2013, at 7:35 p.m., he shared one simple statement:
The tweets continued from there, only this time Jeudy had questions.
Jeudy began firing off tweets in rapid succession. Several of them referenced drugs, sexual situations or violent acts.
While most of these tweets were sent in the span of under an hour, Jeudy had one final thought on the subject early the next morning.
There’s no way of knowing what prompted these tweets. “Big Bird’s Words,” an app for children, was released in the summer of 2013 — but the trail runs cold there. It definitely seems like something Broncos reporters should ask the young wide receiver about.
Since he was a teenager at the time and most of these tweets are harmless, if only a little NSFW, maybe we shouldn’t Judge Jeudy?
