Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee) inactive vs. Lions; P.J. Walker to start

After a week of reports and intrigue, Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater officially is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Bridgewater was limited throughout the week after suffering an MCL sprain in last week’s loss to the Buccaneers, but there was hope that he might be able to suit up today.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that backup P.J. Walker will get the start, and Will Grier will be the backup.

Around The NFL will have more on this news soon.
