Lewis Hamilton is set to feature in a new song by American stars Major Lazer in his latest project away from F1, after the artists teased their latest release on social media. Taking to Twitter, Major Lazer revealed to their fans that new music was in the pipeline, which is set to feature fellow artists, and DJ stars Major League.
This not the only collaboration in the American’s new release though, with Major Lazer also revealing seven-time Formula 1 world champion Hamilton will also feature in the way of a ‘banjo solo’. Taking to Twitter the music trio said: “Working on new music with @MAJORLEAGUEDJZ.
“Who’s ready to hear @LewisHamilton’s banjo solo?” This is one of the latest ventures Hamilton has entered away from the race track, after it was also revealed this week he was investing in TMRW Sports, an innovative golf company set up by PGA Tour stars Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Hamilton is also trying his hand in the film industry, having recently set up production company Dawn Apollo Films. The company is set to produce a documentary about Hamilton’s life, as well as a fictional film surrounding F1, which will feature Hollywood star Brad Pitt and Joseph Kosinski – director of recent hit Top Gun: Maverick.

Discussing his movie venture with Autosport, the Mercedes man said: “I’m incredibly excited about it. I mean, what we’ve been able to so far team-wise put together is pretty incredible.
“I’ve got Tim Cook here this weekend, which is such an honour to have him with us. Him and his team have been so supportive, with supporting my documentary, and also green lighting this movie.

“And then having Brad [Pitt], a legend, and you’ve got Jerry, who really is an incredible legend, he did Top Gun the original. And Joe is such a huge talent as a director.I have such high hopes for it.
“I know we’re going to make the best racing movie that’s ever existed, both visually and we’re going to work on making sure we pull on the heartstrings of all those fans.”
