Max Verstappen will start from the back of the grid on Sunday he’ll still aim to get one over Lewis Hamilton on Saturday in qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix.
The Dutch championship leader has swapped-in a fresh power unit and consequently takes a grid penalty – meaning Hamilton is handed the perfect chance to retake the championship lead.
Heavy rain has affected the weekend already in Sochi, with final practise cancelled and director Michael Masi warning that qualifying could be moved to Sunday.
