PSG are reportedly planning to host a mega event to unveil the signing of Lionel Messi in the coming days.
Reports suggest the Ligue 1 giants will announce the superstar at the Eiffel Tower in an extravagant ceremony.
It won't be the first time that a club has gone above and beyond to announce a new signing with a simple press release long gone.
Messi's unveiling is set to beat the lot, but plenty of clubs have been imaginative, especially in recent years on social media.
And Daily Star Sport has looked at seven of the strangest and most innovative transfer unveilings of all time…
Bryan Robson – Middlesbrough
When Robson was announced as player-manager at Middlesbrough, the pictures to announce his arrival were a bit bizarre.
Some would call it smart-casual but suit and tie on top, shorts and socks down low just doesn't work.
Why Robson agreed to that we will never know.
Mohamed Salah – Liverpool
The Egyptian has shone at Liverpool, but his announcement was all a bit strange.
The Reds posted a video of Salah scrolling through Twitter, with fans asking if the signing was confirmed.
The camera then cut to Salah, who awkwardly waved at the viewers before saying "Salah announced."
Paulo di Canio – Sheffield Wednesday
When Italian Di Canio joined fellow Italian Benito Carbone at Sheffield Wednesday the Owls decided the stereotype was the best way to go.
So they got the pair to both chomp into a pizza on the Hillsborough pitch.
It seemed the pizza wasn't even cooked, and looked like quite a dull affair too. Odd.
Lionel Messi transfer demand was ruined by Tottenham before Barcelona exit announcement
John Terry – Aston Villa
JT has just left Villa Park, but the announcement for his arrival will not be forgotten.
The Premier League outfit took to social media to post a WhatsApp conversation between the likes of Steve Bruce and Dr Tony Xia.
Jack Grealish was involved as was Gabby Agbonlahor in welcoming Terry to the club in a decent clip, to be fair.
Alexis Sanchez – Man Utd
Just what was that piano video all about?
Apparently Sanchez actually was playing the ivory, but we still don't quite understand why Manchester United opted for that method.
The video went down just about as well as Sanchez's Old Trafford career in the end.
PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino aware of Lionel Messi availability as he speaks out
Santi Cazorla – Villarreal
It was common knowledge that Arsenal icon Santi Cazorla was heading to Villarreal, but that didn't stop the La Liga side pulling out all the stops for his unveiling.
The got a magician to make Cazorla appear in a plume of smoke in a brilliant illusion at the stadium.
Can you beat that at the Eiffel Tower, PSG?

The Baggies had clearly had enough of having disgruntled supporters asking whether they had signed anyone yet.
So to shut the fans up, they got new signing Jay Rodriguez to appear in a video and used that as a reply.
