Aaron Ramsdale subtlety responds to Jamie Carragher calling him fake
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has subtlety responded to Jamie Carragher’s claims that he was being fake during the north London derby.

Carragher suggested that Ramsdale was acting when cameras picked up his reaction to a key save made by David Raya from the bench.
Raya, who has recently replaced Ramsdale in the starting XI at Arsenal, produced a stunning save in the first half against Tottenham on Sunday – getting across his line to claw away an almost-certain goalbound effort from Brennan Johnson.
Ramsdale was seen applauding his fellow goalkeeper with his arms above his head before shouting out in joy.
‘You know when someone loses the Oscar and they’re clapping and smiling for the other person?’ Carragher said on Sky Sports.
‘I was laughing when I saw that. He’ll be absolutely devastated.’
Responding to those comments, the goalkeeper’s dad Nick Ramsdale wrote on Twitter: ‘You are a Disgrace!! Show some class!! My lad has.’

Ramsdale has now appeared to respond to Carragher’s remarks himself by posting two photos on his Instagram story on Monday.
Both images show the Englishman celebrating standout moments by team-mates, with Ramsdale seeming to suggest that his reaction in the north London derby was nothing out of the blue – and that he was not acting.
The first picture Ramsdale posted was of himself at AFC Bournemouth as a substitute, celebrating with team-mates after fellow goalkeeper Mark Travers’ heroics following a Carabao Cup win over Forest Green Rovers.
The second showed Ramsdale celebrating Reiss Nelson’s 97th-minute winner for Arsenal against Bournemouth last season.
Meanwhile, Carragher feels that Ramsdale will not be able to force his way back into the Arsenal XI and has urged him to consider leaving in the January window.
‘Raya is the No.1 and Ramsdale will have to move on,’ Carragher said. ‘If he can get out in January and Arsenal can get a good fee, it could happen.’
