Adam Lallana will be one of three big-name stars to leave Liverpool this summer, despite penning a new short-term deal at the club.
The England international has agreed to stay on at Anfield for his side's remaining fixtures this season, extending his contract past its current June 30 expiry.
However it is not clear how often the 32-year-old will feature in Jurgen Klopp's plans, as he is set to leave once the season has reached its conclusion.
Liverpool will almost certainly win the Premier League title in the coming weeks, giving Lallana the perfect send-off after six years on Merseyside.
And The Mail report he won't be the only Reds first-teamer to depart in the transfer window.
Forgotten full-back Nathaniel Clyne – also a former England regular – will leave before the season has reached its conclusion.
Clyne, 29, has had rotten luck with injuries since joining Liverpool from Southampton for £12million in 2015.
He has barely featured in recent seasons after he was replaced in the side by Trent Alexander-Arnold, and is currently training on his own at Liverpool's academy.
His contract is due to expire on June 30, but there is no offer of a short-term extension for the player.
The third star expected to depart will be Xherdan Shaqiri, providing Liverpool are able to find a buyer.
Newcastle are said to be interested in signing the Swiss midfielder, who has also struggled to force his way into first-team reckoning.

Shaqiri played a key role in the famous 4-0 win over Barcelona last season, but has managed a total of just 10 appearances so far in the 2019/20 campaign, only three of which were starts.
Liverpool will only allow Shaqiri to leave in exchange for a fee however, and are keen to make a profit on the £13m they paid Stoke for him two years ago.
The 28-year-old was previously valued at around £30m, but that figure now seems unrealistic in the current market.
