Arsenal legend Tony Adams has hailed Gunners boss Mikel Arteta following their 1-0 win over Manchester United and revealed his former team-mate Steve Bould is hugely impressed with the Spaniard.

Arteta is closing in on one year in charge of Arsenal, which seen him win the FA Cup and Community Shield, test positive for coronavirus and now claim a first away win against a 'Big six' team since 2015 after beating United.

The Arsenal manager has lifted the mood and brought authority to the club in his 10 months at the Emirates.

Bould is now charge of the Arsenal under-23s but can see the impact Arteta is having after the demoralised feeling under predecessor Unai Emery.

And Adams says Bould has been effusive in his praise of Arteta and feels he's doing a 'remarkable job'.

"He [Arteta] has got fantastic ability to work with this team," Adams told Stadium Astro.
