Aston Villa vs Chelsea live stream: How to watch Premier League match online

Aston Villa manager Dean Smith says his assistant coach John Terry will be determined to get one over on his former club. Villa host Chelsea as the Premier League continues, with Terry’s former team-mate Frank Lampard now in charge of the Blues.

“He’s got a strong affinity for Chelsea and his connections,” Smith said of Terry.

“You know, it’s still his club. He knows all the people, he’s got Frank and Jody [Morris] who are in charge of the football team now.

“He’ll certainly be one of wanting to get one over them Sunday even though they are his club because he’s a winner at the end of the day.”

Lampard says his friendship with Terry will have to be put on hold as it is an important game for both sides.

They were beaten 2-1 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season and Smith insisted there should be no surprises facing Lampard’s side.

He added: “We’ll have an idea of their squad and the shape.

“As Chris Wilder said before our game (against Sheffield United), there aren’t too many surprises going to be thrown out.

“We know each other’s squads because nothing’s changed within our squads. We’ll have a good idea of who we’re going to be facing.”
