Bernardo Silva left fuming with Jack Grealish for hard training slap prank

Bernardo Silva has been left fuming with Jack Grealish after his teammate slapped him as part of a prank in training.

The duo are currently in the USA with the rest of the Manchester City first team squad as Pep Guardiola's side continue their preparations for the new Premier League season. To pass the time in the club's hotel on Thursday, Grealish chose to play a prank on Silva as he geared up to begin a fitness session on an exercise bike.

The England winger shared footage of his prank to his Instagram story, showing him sneaking up on Silva from behind.

Grealish then slaps Silva on the back of the net, causing the Portugal international to turn around angrily holding his neck. He can also be heard saying "ouch" as he looks at his team-mate with a confused expression on his face.

The clip was accompanied by the caption "Such an angry teletubbie", with Grealish also tagging Silva in the post. He later added a picture of Silva on the bike before tagging him in an image of Po from the beloved children's television show, Teletubbies.

Silva and Grealish have formed a strong friendship since the latter's record move to the Etihad Stadium from Aston Villa last summer, regularly appearing on each other's social media channels.

They were also seen in good spirits together at the club's title celebrations back in May, having featured alongside each other 31 times for City last season.

City's USA tour began earlier this week as they beat Mexican side Club America 2-1 in a friendly in Houston thanks to a brace from Kevin de Bruyne.

Grealish also made headlines during the match after being branded a "f***ing idiot" for starting a scuffle with the opposition's goalkeeper, Guillermo Ochoa.

The tour is set to conclude with a friendly against Bayern Munich in Green Bay on Saturday before City return to England ahead of next weekend's Community Shield.

City will take on Liverpool in the annual season curtain raiser at the King Power Stadium, with Leicester City's ground replacing Wembley Stadium this year to avoid a clash with the Women's Euros final the following day on July 31.
