Paris St-Germain have confirmed that three of their first-team players have tested positive for Covid-19.

The French club suffered defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final last month, with Kingsley Coman netting the only goal of the showpiece out in Portugal.

Thomas Tuchel and co must now regroup ahead of the new Ligue 1 season, nevertheless, which they will get underway against Lens on September 10.

However, Tuchel’s preparations for the new campaign have been dealt a major setback after three of his players tested positive for coronavirus.

The French club posted on Twitter: Three players from @PSG_inside are confirmed positive by the Sars CoV2 test and are subject to the appropriate health protocol.

"All players and staff will continue to perform tests over the next few days.”
