Manchester United are ready to loan Tahith Chong to Werder Bremen.
Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen for the young winger to get more minutes under his belt, and Bremen want to take him on loan for two seasons.
Solskjaer held talks with Chong on Friday following Man United's Europa League last-16 victory over LASK, in which the 20-year-old Dutchman played 25 minutes.
And the Norwegian will now be working towards completing the deal, with the loan fee and salary yet to be finalised.
Werder Bremen sports director Frank Baumann said: "That we are in exchange is the case.
"We are in good talks. Several parties are involved. Some things still have to be clarified and we have to agree. As of now, this is not the case."
United have drawn Copenhagen in the quarter-final of the Europa League, after their 7-1 aggregate win over Austrian minnows LASK.
Solskjaer is particularly looking forward to the tie as it will see him go up against long-time friend, Copenhagen boss Stale Solbakken.
Solskjaer said: "I know Stale really well. A good friend of mine. I did my pro licence study with him in Copenhagen, so I know what there is to know about Stale probably.
"And he probably knows what there is to know about me! I'm looking forward to it."
