Callum Hudson-Odoi has revealed he is in constant communication with Jadon Sancho and admitted he would love for the Borussia Dortmund star to join him at Chelsea.
The international teammates share a good relationship from their England youth days, and both hail from south London.
Sancho has been linked with a return to the nation's capital this summer as he weighs up his transfer options from interested parties.
Chelsea are in the hunt to land his signature, and his close ties with Hudson-Odoi could pose as a significant advantage to the Stamford Bridge club.
"Me and Sancho are mad close, we talk every other day, always seeing how each other are and how we’re doing," Hudson-Odoi told Michael Dapaah on an Instagram Live interview.
"We make sure that we’re both doing well, obviously he’s doing amazing and having a great season.
"We’re always making sure each other is good. Obviously he’s a great player, I love playing with him – he’s a great player to play with.
"For England as well we’ve played all the way through the ages so the link up has always been there.
"I played against him sometimes in the Youth Cup games or we would play each other for England, the link up has always been there and we’ve always loved playing with each other."
Man Utd are also interested in signing Sancho, but Dortmund are demanding a fee in the region of £100-120million for their star winger.
Reports suggest the Bundesliga outfit are now confident of retaining the 20-year-old by offering him a one-year extension on his current deal worth £9m-per-season.
