Callum Wilson and Newcastle are out to cause more misery for Manchester United.
Steve Bruce takes on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Premier League on Saturday and the home side have the chance to go seven points ahead of the Red Devils only a handful of fixtures into the new season.
The 28-year-old striker has scored four goals in his first four league outings for his new side, and he has seen enough of United to boost his confidence ahead of their visit to St James’ Park.
Bruce has also mentioned the recent international break as something that could help his team.
In a chat with the Sun, Wilson said: “I see they have conceded 11 goals in three games, so you take confidence from that.
“It could be a case that when they got back together they were a little bit shaky and a little bit nervous after their last performance."
With Bruce adding: “We’ve worked well all week and hope to get off to a fast start.
“They have had international players, travelling all over the place, so we are hoping it will be to our advantage.”
Solskjaer has said of his side's preparations: “They’ve been training well.
“It’s not just about training hard, it’s also about getting the right mindset and having the right environment to train in because it’s never easy when the last thing you do before a break like this is lose as we did [against Tottenham].
“But they’ve been working well and hard. They had a few days off, last weekend, but the mood has been good.”
Before adding of his opposite manager: “Steve [Bruce] has done a fantastic job up there, I have to say.

“They’ve had a very, very good start to the season with seven points already and through in the Carabao Cup to the quarter-finals. They’ve done some good business and they’re going to make it hard for us.
“With Allan Saint-Maximin, [Callum] Wilson, [Andy] Carroll, Joelinton, [Miguel] Almiron… whoever it is that will be up there, they’re going to cause us problems.
“It’s never easy to play against Steve’s teams because they’re well organised defensively as well.”
