Dani Ceballos appears to have addressed reports that he is set to return to Arsenal for another season on loan with a cryptic post on Instagram.
The midfielder returned to training with Real Madrid but it has been widely reported that he is gearing up to rejoin the Gunners for the upcoming campaign.
And Ceballos now looks to have his say, posting a picture of a ticking clock on Instagram as a hint that his future will be decided soon.
The playmaker had been linked with a move to boyhood club Real Betis but he has chosen Arsenal.
It comes after Gunners boss Mikel Arteta made his desire to keep Ceballos at the club clear.
Speaking ahead of their Community Shield triumph over Liverpool, Arteta said: "Well, we have some talks and Dani knows really well what I think about him.
"He was pretty clear with me as well that his intention was to remain with us but obviously Real Madrid is involved and I don’t know yet what they want to do with the player.

"But he’s a player that we are interested in because we really saw, in the last few months of the season, what he is capable of bringing to us."
The news comes with defender Gabriel Magalhaes set to sign from Lille and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang expected to agree a new contract and commit his long-term future to the north London club.
Arsenal have also confirmed an outgoing, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan joining Roma on a permanent basis after spending last season there on loan.
The Gunners terminated Mkhitaryan's contract by mutual consent and the 31-year-old wrote on social media: "Now the preparation begins with my new challenge & my 2nd year adventure in @SerieA_EN. I love the city of #Roma, I love this club and I count the fans in my heart. I will give all of my effort in helping us achieve our goals!"
