Liverpool face RB Leipzig and Chelsea will take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will face first timers Borussia Monchengladbach.

Barcelona face PSG in the pick of draw elsewhere.

The virtual draw was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday morning ahead of the Europa League draw for the last 32.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City were all among the top seeds in the Champions League draw after winning their group, along with the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid were both in pot two though after finishing second in their group, meaning there was always the possibility of facing a tricky tie.

Elsewhere, Lazio face holders Bayern Munich and Porto will take on Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus.

Europa League champions Sevilla have been drawn against Borussia Dortmund, and Real Madrid will play against Serie A side Atalanta.

The first legs of the last 16 ties will take place on 16, 17, 23 and 24 February, with the second legs on 9, 10, 16, 17 March. The quarter final draw will take place on March 19.

Manchester United were not in either pot as they finished third in their group, meaning they drop down the Europa League.

Inter Milan also fell by the wayside as they came bottom in a very tough group.

Portuguese giant Porto were the only side in the draw not from one of Europe's big five leagues.
