Hakim Ziyech is reportedly leaving international debut early to return to Chelsea, but the Moroccan’s departure is believed to have been planned.
Ziyech was picked for his country during the international break despite being yet to make his competitive Blues debut.
Ziyech had been struggling with a knee injury sustained in a pre-season friendly against Brighton.
He did return to action on Friday as he came off the bench for Morocco for the final 30 minutes, setting up a goal in a 3-1 friendly win against Senegal.
But football.london now claim that Ziyech is on his way back to London rather than staying on for Morocco's second friendly against DR Congo on Tuesday night.
Though Blues fans should not be concerned with it reported that Ziyech’s departure was agreed before the Senegal game.
Ziyech could now feature for Chelsea when the Premier League returns next weekend having missed the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace last week.
Ahead of the clash with Palace, Blues boss Frank Lampard had said: "Ziyech is getting closer but not close enough to be on the bench.”

It had been suggested that the 27-year-old may have been risked in a higher-stakes fixture, though was not needed in the end with Chelsea being comfortable.
Former Ajax star Jesper Olsen believes Ziyech will be a star at Stamford Bridge when fully fit.
He told Stats Perform News: "There's no doubt he will be a success at Chelsea.

"I think Frank Lampard has done a really good job. He knows the club inside out. Seems to be very good in terms of management and playing style.
“This is the important thing, he wants to attack and play offensive football. That will not be a problem [for Ziyech].
"The players coming out of Ajax, they are like that. Being a defender or midfielder, you are attacking-minded. No doubt about that."
