Graham Potter already knows where Chelsea need to “improve” following their 1-1 draw with Red Bull Salzburg in his first game in charge.
“We’re disappointed with the result in the end,” he said on BT Sport.
“I thought the boys gave everything, I really did.
“Attacked quite well, missed a little bit in the final third but they defended well and got some good blocks in. Scored a good goal, lost a little bit in the second period of the second half but responded well again. Their keeper has made some good saves.
“We’re all disappointed with the result, but boys gave everything, it just wasn’t quite to be today.
“It’s always irritating when you concede. Overall, the defensive performance was quite good. The little details we have to improve.
“First game, it’s not been easy for the boys, they’ve responded well to us over the last few days. It’s not the result we wanted, it’s a point we have to take it. We will get better.”
