Chelsea to have extreme new look as 2022/23 home and away kits are ‘leaked’

Chelsea's rumoured home and away kits for the 2022/23 campaign have apparently been leaked online – and they are likely to divide opinion among supporters.

The Blues are only two months into the 2021/22 season, with Thomas Tuchel's men currently one point clear at the top of the Premier League table after winning seven of their first nine matches.

However, their purported strips for next season have already been leaked by reliable kit news website Footy Headlines, who recently released photos of the rumoured home and away designs.

Both kits include a unique turquoise feature which could prove controversial among Chelsea fans.

The home jersey is mainly blue as usual, but with a white and turquoise henley neckline and a same-coloured Nike logo.

The shorts adopt a similar theme, while the socks are predominantly white with chlorine blue and college navy detail.

As for the away kit, that will be mainly white with four teal hoops and a navy trim.

The Chelsea faithful already appear to be at loggerheads over the designs, taking to social media to express their contrasting opinions.

One wrote: "Honestly one of the worst kits I’ve seen".

Another put: "Wreck a nice home kit with a collar colour. Like LFC (Liverpool) last 2 home kits".

A third quipped: "Looks like someone squirted toothpaste all over the collar".

But not all the reviews were negative, with one fan posting: "These are incredible! Nike take my money".

Another said: "Beautiful".

While one commented: "Wooow. Nike finally went @Specsavers".
