Coventry 4-1 Fulham: Viktor Gyokeres at the double as Sky Blues run rampant over Cottagers to move just outside the automatic promotion places

  • Fulham took the lead through Kyle McFadzean’s 18th minute goal for the visitors
  • They were 1-0 up at half-time but couldn’t cope with Coventry in the second half
  • Viktor Gyokeres pulled them level before Matt Godden put them ahead
  • Ian Maatsen added a third goal before Gyokeres found the net to secure a brace

Coventry ran rampant against Fulham to take a 4-1 victory to move third in the Championship standings.

Viktor Gyokeres scored a brace while Matt Godden and Ian Maatsen also got onto the scoresheet as they stunned the side that had started the day third.

Fulham had actually taken the lead through Kyle McFadzean but couldn’t respond when Coventry got going.
