Cristiano Ronaldo’s price for Fantasy Premier League has been revealed – and he won’t come cheap! The Portuguese superstar has completed a historic return to Manchester United and will be set to make his second debut against Newcastle on September 11.

United fans were up in arms just a week ago when it appeared as though Ronaldo would be making a shock switch to Manchester City.

Jorge Mendes was reportedly in contact with the defending Premier League champions.

But the Red Devils soon swooped in when it became clear that Ronaldo was officially available as he wanted to leave Juventus.

He now returns to Old Trafford having left United 12 years ago and the Portugal international is likely to be an instant FPL favourite.

Ronaldo scored over 200 points in each of his last three seasons at United and averaged an incredible 7.3 points per game.

And, despite Ronaldo turning 37 years of age next February, he won’t come cheap this time around.

His price has been confirmed at £12.5m making him the joint-most expensive player in the game.

Both Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane are set at £12.5m, while Bruno Fernandes is £0.4m cheaper.

As expected, Ronaldo is also classified as a forward in the game, meaning some may try and pick Fernandes and Ronaldo together.

Trying to select from United’s attacking options this season may now prove to be a headache for some managers now though.

Jadon Sancho (£9.3m), Paul Pogba (£7.7m) and Mason Greenwood (£7.6m) are all viable options up top while Anthony Martial (£7.8m) and Edinson Cavani (£8.5m) could also fill in.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also has Marcus Rashford (£9.4m) to return from injury in the near future.

Fernandes is currently the most-owned player in FPL as 55.7 per cent have him in their team.

That’s just ahead of Liverpool’s Salah at 53.3 per cent, but Ronaldo’s return to the Premier League will certainly eat into that.

United fans will now be eagerly watching Portugal in the international break to see their marquee signing in action.
