Cristiano Ronaldo proves hes back training and helping Man Utds future talents

Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at suggestions he’s not fully committed to the cause by posting a picture of himself training with some of the Manchester United youngsters

The superstar has been pictured training with United for the first time since reports emerged suggesting that he wishes to depart to a club in the Champions League. On Saturday, Ronaldo took to Twitter to post an image of himself at Carrington.

The 37-year-old, currently in his second stint at United, is seen posing next to some of the new United generation set to break through, such as Amad Diallo, Charlie Savage and Hannibal Mejbri. The picture was captioned with: “Working in progress…”

Owing to ‘personal issues’, Ronaldo was left behind when 21 players of the United side travelled to Oslo in Norway, where Erik ten Hag’s men lost 1-0 against Atletico Madrid. But the former Sporting Lisbon player is expected to play in United’s next friendly match – a contest against Spanish side Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Real Madrid legend scored 24 goals in 38 appearances across all competition last season, while United have just behind him Antony Martial at present, who was on loan at Sevilla the second half of last season.
