The 23-year-old is interested in a move to Selhurst Park but Celtic have been holding out for a greater fee.
Edouard only has one year left on his contract yet Celtic owe a 40 per cent sell-on to Paris Saint-Germain so are keen to maximise their profit.

However, the France U21 international is prepared to see out his contract and potentially leave on a Bosman next year if he doesn’t get the move he wants this window.
Leicester were favourites for Edouard but grew frustrated with Celtic’s valuation.
Brighton showed interest earlier this month while Bordeaux and Rubin Kazan have been credited with enquiries in recent days.

Edouard would give Palace the goalscoring edge that coach Patrick Vieira craves, having scored 88 goals for Celtic since joining them in 2017.
Palace have held talks with Arsenal over Eddie Nketiah but remain apart on valuation while they also want a winger with Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, Ademola Lookman of Red Bull Leipzig and Jeremie Boga of Sassuolo all under discussion.
Palace did complete the protracted transfer of Will Hughes from Watford on Saturday. The deal is £6m up front with further £4m potentially in add-ons.
Watford moved to replace Hughes on Friday by signing Moussa Sissoko, 32, from Tottenham for £3million.
