Defenders are not normally known for being among the most technically gifted footballers, but Arsenal'sDavid Luiz is keen to prove that theory wrong.
Throughout his career, the Brazil international has won plaudits for his ability to launch attacking moves from the back with a strong range of passing.
Such is the former Chelsea man's skill with the ball at his feet, the 32-year-old has sometimes found himself playing further forward in midfield and has previously been trusted with free-kick duties in the past.
And even as he heads towards the twilight of a glittering career, it appears the ex- Paris Saint-Germain defender still has the technical ability that has made clubs splash out millions and millions on Luiz over the years.
The Gunners centre-back took to social media site TikTok on Tuesday to share a brilliant trick shot he was able to pull off at home during the coronavirus lockdown.
Standing behind a mini-goal and at an angle, the Brazilian can be seen striking the ball with the outside of his right foot before watching on as it bounces and spins into the net.
Luiz understandably appeared impressed with his effort, nonchalantly walking towards the goal while holding his arms out in celebration.
It's not the first time the 32-year-old has entertained his legion of fans since the Premier League was suspended indefinitely, with the defender previously playing a game of rock, paper, scissors with himself in a mirror.
