Erling Haaland executed an incredible gravity defying leap and header as the Borussia Dortmund star bagged a brace against Greuther Furth on Wednesday night.

Haaland, 21, is the subject of widespread interest from a host of Europe’s top clubs, with his 76 goals in 74 games making the Norwegian one of the hottest prospects in world football.

Earlier this month, his agent Mino Raiola said there is a ‘big chance’ Haaland will leave next summer and named Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich as potential destinations for the man with a £64million release clause.

And the 21-year-old has demonstrated, once again, why he is one of the most talked about youngsters in football.

Having already opened the scoring for Marco Rose’s side from the spot, Haaland doubled Dortmund’s lead against Bundesliga strugglers Greuther Furth in the 81st minute with a gravity-defying header.

Julian Brandt sent an inswinging delivery into the visitors’ box and Haaland soared into the air to meet the ball and power a header into the bottom corner.

The goal bore comparisons to that of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored a handful of incredible, gravity-defying headers throughout his illustrious career.

Football fans took to Twitter to laud the 21-year-old after his sensational goal on Wednesday

One fan on Twitter wrote: ‘He’s the Norwegian beast,’ while another said: ‘It’s too easy for him’.

‘Better at heading than Ronaldo ever was,’ one fan audaciously claimed. ‘He is unreal,’ another supporter said.

Haaland’s header on Wednesday was his third in a week, having netted twice with his head against Besiktas in the Champions League last week.

Dortmund boss Rose said that Haaland’s aerial success is reward for his hard work on the training ground.

‘Erling has learned,’ he said. ‘It’s nice to see that he’s working on things, it wasn’t his first header this season. He has improved massively, has better timing.’
