Everton fans seen heading for exit after 18 mins as Liverpool stroll to 4-1 win

Everton fans were spotted heading for the exit just 20 minutes into the Merseyside derby after Liverpool grabbed two early goals during their 4-1 victory at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.

It took just nine minutes to open the scoring with Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson guiding a beautiful left-footed strike in from the edge of the box.

Mohamed Salah doubled the Reds' lead less than 10 minutes later, finishing off a quick counter-attack by curling the ball over Jordan Pickford into the far corner of the net.

Salah's goal appeared to spark a mini exodus and sections of the home crowd headed for the turnstiles, despite that there was still 70 minutes left on the clock.

"Everton fans heading for the exits already! You love to see it," wrote one Liverpool fan on social media.

"They've already had enough!! F***ing fantastic," wrote enough.

To make matters worse, Liverpool fans starting chanting Everton boss Rafa Benitez's name

The Toffees managed to pull a goal through Demarai Gray, but another Salah goal in the second half put the game beyond the home side.

Diogo Jota grabbed Liverpool's fourth as Jurgen Klopp's side stayed within touching distance of league-leaders Chelsea, who narrowly beat Watford at Vicarage Road.

The win keeps them third in the Premier League, a point behind Manchester City and two points off the top.

The Reds have also extended the gap between themselves and fourth-placed West Ham United to seven points.
