Tottenham could seal a shock loan move for former Arsenal hero Aaron Ramsey this summer, according to reports.
The Wales international is being offered out to various clubs by Juventus less than a year after making the switch from the Gunners to the Italian side.
Ramsey has struggled to nail down a starting place in Maurizio Sarri’s team and could be offloaded to help the club ease the financial burden of the coronavirus crisis.
And according to The Sun, Spurs are one of the Premier League clubs to have been offered the midfielder’s services, in what would be a shock move given he was only playing for their rivals last year.
However, the 29-year-old’s astronomical £400,000-per-week wages would make a potential move difficult.
Football clubs have been severely impacted by the global pandemic and Spurs chose to take out a £175 million loan from the Bank of England to help boost their finances.
But to make a potential deal easier, the reports states that Juventus could offer to pay a portion of Ramsey’s wages.
Manchester United and Manchester City are also considered to be possible destinations for the three-time FA Cup winner with the Gunners.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly a big admirer of the midfielder.
