Former Premier League stars Nicolas Anelka and Djibril Cisse have disagreed over Lionel Messi's start at PSG.
Messi moved to the French capital over the summer, when his contract at Barcelona came to end, and the Catalan side were unable to renew his deal.
Both Anelka and Cisse have had spells at various Premier League clubs plus time in Ligue 1, but despite the pairs lengthy CVs, they have never shared a dressing room with one another.
Anelka, who had two separate spells at PSG, has suggested that Messi hasn't been good enough, while Cisse believes he needs more time to adapt.
"Today we demand from Neymar, but we can do the same with Messi," Anelka told RMC as he defended Neymar before taking a swipe at Messi.
"Since the beginning of the season it is not extraordinary either.
"There is a player who has six Ballon d'Ors and finally is not so extraordinary."

Cisse, on the other hand, was more sympathetic towards the superstar when speaking to L'Equipe: "Messi's problem, if we can speak of a problem, is that he's a human being.
"He has emotions. He has lifestyle habits. For more than twenty years, he was in his element, in Barcelona.
"And there, we take him, we put him in another environment and we say to him: 'Go ahead, perform.' But he changed his life. His family has changed their life.
"We must give him time to adapt, even if his name is Messi.
"The life of a football player is impacted by his private life. For me, it's not a football problem."
