The FA Cup semi-final fixtures have been announced despite Manchester United yet to play their quarter-final tie.

United will face Brighton in the last-four, should they first beat Fulham in Sunday afternoon's clash. The other semi-final fixture will see Manchester City play Sheffield United at the Etihad for a spot in the final.

If Erik ten Hag's side successfully dispatch Fulham, they could have their work cut out with a visit to the Amex, with Brighton being in stellar form all season.

The Seagulls demolished Grimsby Town moments before the semi-final draw was conducted in a 5-0 victory. Goals from Deniz Undav, Solly March, Kaoru Mitoma and a brace courtesy of Evan Ferguson cemented a convincing win at home.

Meanwhile, United's noisy neighbours City booked their place in the semis with another drubbing, putting six past Burnley on Saturday and keeping a clean sheet as Erling Haaland bagged himself another hat-trick.

Sheffield United's route to the semis was far trickier. The Blades were 2-1 down to Blackburn Rovers at home on Sunday before launching a miraculous comeback with ten minutes left on the clock.

Oli McBurnie equalised in the 81st minute with a cute finish from a tight angle, before Tommy Doyle sent the stadium into raptures with a thundering long-range strike in stoppage time.y

The final quarter-final clash between United and Fulham got underway at 4.30pm, with the other teams surely keeping a keen eye on the result.

Ten Hag's men are three wins and a potential Manchester Derby victory away from grabbing their second trophy of the season, having lifted the Carabao Cup at Wembley last month.
