Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici plans to make a number of signings soon in order to give head coach Nuno Espirito Santo as much time as possible in pre-season with his new players, according to reports. Next week is set to be ‘busy’ in terms of incomings at the north London club.
Tottenham are yet to make any new signings in the summer window.
Spurs only appointed Nuno as their new head coach on June 30, with the Portuguese becoming the permanent successor to compatriot Jose Mourinho.
Tottenham finished seventh in the Premier League last season, with their wait for a trophy extending to beyond the 13-year mark.
The Lilywhites will be participating in the newly-formed Europa Conference League so will need a deep squad to fulfil a congested fixture list.

Managing director of football Paratici wants to allow Nuno to work with his new signings in pre-season before the Premier League opener against defending champions Manchester City on August 15.
Atalanta duo Cristian Romero and Pierluigi Gollini are two players Spurs are claimed to be in advanced talks with.
Atalanta are set to activate a clause to buy loanee Romero before selling him to Spurs for a profit.

Goalkeeper Gollini is set to provide competition to club captain Hugo Lloris if he completes a move to north London.
Football.london says there are also set to be a few outgoings ahead of the start of the Premier League campaign.
Lloris could be one if Spurs receive an offer they deem acceptable for the France skipper.

The futures of Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld are also in doubt.
The most high-profile player in the Spurs squad linked with an exit is talismanic striker Harry Kane.
Manchester City have already seen a £100million bid turned down for Kane.
Speaking at his first press conference as head coach last week, Nuno insisted Kane would stay at the club.
Nuno said: “I have no doubts in my mind. What I wish is for Harry to recover well and have a good rest.
“When he arrives he will feel that he has to commit himself to become better. We are ambitious, we want to do well and we count on Harry to do that.
“Harry is our player, period. There is no need to talk about anything else. Now is the time for him to rest. When he returns we can have a good conversation. I am looking forward to him joining the group.”
